Introducing Marygrove’s Fab 5 in 25
Anne-Marie Berger, Senior Producer/Director, Nine PBS
Storytelling has always been a part of Anne-Marie’s life. Growing up in St. Louis, her grandma and aunt would tell tales of the Great Depression, the war, long gone family, and the dime store. She would retell those stories in her head as she’d go through the old photos in their South St. Louis attic. She also tends to ask a lot of questions. So, after graduating from Loyola University in New Orleans, pursuing a career as a storyteller was a natural fit. She began her career with Nine PBS in 2000, and in addition to being a part of Living St. Louis since its inception, she’s covered issues such as the heroin epidemic, racism, poverty, education, and healthcare. Anne-Marie is the recipient of 15 Mid-America Emmy Awards, former Trustee for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and currently serves as the Vice-President of Awards for the Mid-America Emmy Chapter.
Bethany DeMaggio, Realtor, DeMaggio Partners
With a lifelong passion for service and sales, Bethany brings decades of experience and heart to the real estate industry. As the oldest of five children, she began working at the age of 13 in a local restaurant and never looked back. Her early start laid the foundation for a successful career in pharmaceutical and medical sales, where she consistently excelled while also navigating personal real estate transactions—buying and selling homes across the years.
In 2016, she made the leap into full-time real estate and quickly became a standout in the field. Since then, she has been a top performer every year within her brokerages and is currently ranked in the top 1% of agents in the St. Louis, MO region. Known for exceeding expectations, Bethany is deeply committed to delivering peace of mind, exceptional customer service, and open communication throughout every transaction. To her, referrals are not just a compliment—they are a true honor and responsibility.
Outside of real estate, Bethany is a dedicated mom, proudly serving as her children’s “Uber driver” and biggest cheerleader at sporting events. She shares her home with three fluffy corgis—Samson, Delilah, and Cessna—and finds joy in cooking for loved ones, tackling tough workouts, traveling, reading, and giving back to her community. A water lover at heart, she feels most at peace anywhere near the waves. For Bethany, the best journeys always lead home.
