Transitional Living Program (TLP)
Sequoia House and Drury House are on-campus psychiatric group homes that provide a foundation of support as young adults pursue academic, occupational and other life skills that advance them towards healthy and productive adult lives. Young people in TLP receive a broad range of support to help them advance toward independence. Residents in both houses are between the ages of 17 and 21; they receive 24-hour supervision as well as psychiatric and medical treatment. These young adults have emotional and/or psychiatric problems that require living in a structured treatment program. The residents attend school or are employed; they learn how to create a budget, cook, clean, and make their own decisions. Therapy is an integral part of every child’s treatment plan.
