Dear Community and Agency Partners,
I’m excited to share with you that Marygrove was awarded a new grant from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ Administration on Children, Youth & Families to provide homeless youth from any county or state with shelter services and individual, group, and family therapy for up to 21 days until age 18.
The goal of this funding is reunification with family or a relative. When reunification is not possible, the young person may be eligible for Marygrove’s Transitional Living Program which provides housing, support services and life skills training until age 22.
Marygrove has partnered with St. Louis County’s Children’s Service Fund to serve homeless youth in St. Louis County since 2010. This new funding from ACYF expands emergency shelter services to youth from outside St. Louis County.
We look forward to continuing to work with you to serve more young people in need in the community. Please feel free to call me at 314-830-6227 should you have any questions about this or any other service available through Marygrove.
